New York Comicon the biggest Con on the east coast is always a blast! This is one of my favorite "work" events to go as its open to the public (along with the trade). This year it was even more crowded and excited with tons of cosplay and fans dressed up to celebrate. Many kids were in attendance (makes me wonder aren't these kids supposed to be in school?). Featured all star panels featuring from movies, TV, to video games and toys makes the ticket price worth it! Star Wars: The Force Awakes had a major presence. With tons of Star Wars licensed collectible toys and collaborations. Not onely did movies dominate, but there was also lots of TV merchandise from Game of Thrones to Walking Dead. But there was also a throwback as Back to the Future fans were dressed up as Marty McFly just to take a pic with Doc and the DeLereon. However, The BLOCK @NYCC is the coolest area in my opinion of the show. The BLOCK features exclusive designer toys, collectibles, prints with notable brands and artists (from Clutter to KidRobot to TokiDoki.) Customers can purchase some of their favorite exclusives right on the show floor and even meet your favorite artist/designer or creator! Tickets are going on sale for 2016. Don't forget to register because they will definitely be sold-out again!
